Candidates’ Forum on the Arts
Want to know where the candidates stand on arts issues? The nonpartisan New Hampshire Citizens for the Arts is hosting a candidates’ forum on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester.
The group has invited the candidates for governor, incumbent John Lynch and Joe Kenney; for U.S. Senate, incumbent John Sununu and his challenger, former governor Jeanne Shaheen; for U.S. House District 2, incumbent Paul Hodes and challenger Jennifer Horn; for U.S. House District 1, incumbent Carol Shea-Porter and her challenger, former congressman Jeb Bradley; and for president, John McCain and Barack Obama (who are expected to send surrogates).
